Absorbed in learning about image compression, a rabbit hole if there ever was one.  Manipulating this thistle image (courtesy of my February 2013 overgrown San Jose backyard) for size decreases quality, but results in an intriguing, near-psychedelic look – a different kind of quality.  Here’s to happy accidents!  Merry Christmas!
